Rachel Dunn
Rachel Dunn brings a background in marketing and brand strategy shaped by work at the highest levels of global advertising. After graduating from Penn State, she built her career by leading sonic branding initiatives for major brands such as Nike, Target, Microsoft, and BMW, developing a strong instinct for how brands connect with people in meaningful and lasting ways.
Now a Saratoga Springs resident, Rachel’s path into Thoroughbred racing began with what she describes as “beginner’s luck,” a gifted share in a horse who turned out to be Tiz the Law. As his success grew, so did her interest in the sport and in Sackatoga itself. Seeing an opportunity to strengthen the stable’s marketing and communications, she approached Jack Knowlton with an idea and was told simply to run with it.
She did. What began as an effort to build Sackatoga’s social media presence has grown into a central role within the organization. Today, Rachel is a Managing Partner, bringing her expertise in branding and storytelling to help shape the stable’s voice, strengthen its community, and support its continued growth.
In addition to her work with Sackatoga, Rachel has led and supported a range of regional branding efforts in the Capital Region and serves on the Relationships Committee for the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation and the board of Universal Preservation Hall.
